Next up in my series of character rigs is this funky skater kid. The limbs are rigged w/ rubber hose and the rest of the body is made w/ shape layers parented up to the torso. This process is a bit easier then a full duik rig, but also has less controls. I like the ease of moving the limbs this way, and it's easy to customize your character on the fly. The background is drawn in illustrator and pushed to After Effects as shape layers.
